Andrea Chiasson, MPH, RD
Andrea is the Senior Director of Health and Nutrition for the United Way of Tucson and Southern Arizona. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Food and Nutrition from Simmons College in Boston, MA, a Master of Public Health degree from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, and is a registered dietitian. Andrea has over 25 years of experience administering public health programs for children.
Nancy is a Health and Nutrition Senior Program Manager with the United Way of Tucson and Southern Arizona. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Community Health Education and a Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics from the University of Arizona. She has provided nutrition education to families in Mexico and Guatemala and currently focuses on early childhood nutrition.
Joey is a Health and Nutrition Program Manager with the United Way of Tucson and Southern Arizona. Joey has a Bachelor’s degree in Family Studies and Human Development from the University of Arizona and is finishing her Master’s degree in Public Health from A.T. Still University. Prior to working at United Way Joey worked at Teen Outreach Pregnancy Services where she educated and supported pregnant teenagers throughout their pregnancy. She taught classes that taught her clients how to eat healthy, low-cost meals, the importance of oral health during pregnancy, fitness, and risks associated with poor health, alcohol and substance abuse. In her personal life Joey spends time with her husband and son. She has two gardens and loves having fresh fruit and vegetables to cook and eat!
