When children have a TV in their bedroom, they are more likely to gain unnecessary weight. This may be due to less time spent being physically active, increased snacking (particularly on unhealthy, junk foods), and later bed times. When watching TV with your children, try exercising during commercials or using the TV to play an activity game.
