Today, many children do not eat well and are less physically active. Poor nutrition during childhood can affect their health, cognitive ability, growth, and physical performance later in adolescence and adulthood. Childcare centers, preschools, and after school programs present the greatest opportunity for children to learn about healthy eating habits and establish lifelong physical activity patterns.

This blog was created to help support that structure. I invite each and everyone of you to add in your experiences and expertise in teaching nutrition to children and youth. In addition, please feel free to browse the resource page to get more curriculum and material ideas.
